With the acceleration of China’s urbanization process and the increasingly widespread of automobile transportation,the traffic congestion,environmental pollution, resource shortage and other issues have been brought to the.Tramcar, as the combination of the fusion tram rail and road traffic, plays an important role in modern transportation.However,people are worried about the safety, the stability and effectiveness.So research on these questions must be done. Modern tramcar control unit is the key to the tramcar while intersection is an important crossing. The signal control unit must be safe and effective. So, considering the characteristics of the tramcar and the traditional traffic, research on signal control unit is very important.This essay does research on the signal control unit of the intersection and analyzes different types of the intersection. So the detailed process is to control the order of the unit and ensure the signal light of the road. The data of the tramcar comes from the unit of the intersection while the control unit are based on the hard drive of PLC and other things. Connected with the functional software of each module to realize the priority control, we can control the signal unit easily and effectively.In the course of the study, mainly to achieve real-time detection of road crossing and reliable control of the safety of the tram.The design of the control unit has several aspects. First,the test of the information of the cars. Secondly,the strategy of the intersection and the arrangement of the time.Third,the unit of the test of the lighting circuit.Fourth,the unit of the CAN.Fifth,the functions of the software.The test of the information of the Tramcar are based on SAW RFID, putting the entrance or closing part of the road.The advantage of this technology is that it can be used in complicated conditions.The thought of the unit make the notice of the approaching and leaving tram come true. This paper put forward dynamic real-time priority strategy is the soul of the control unit, specifically designed to notice and door lamp position. Different current crossing situation take insertion phase, the green in advance, red short specific timing method. The signal state detection mainly hrough the light signal state detection, safety relay testing.Based on this study, control unit is used at trackside,so that we can have more time to arrange the cars. Using this kind of technology, we can cost less money and improve the effectiveness of the traffic. we applied SAW RFID technology in vehicle detection and proposed dynamic real-time priority control strategy. These conclusions can provide a theoretical and technical support to the crossroad signal priority control, and have reference value to improve the current intersection control unit in the presence of defects.
