With the development of smart grid, combined with the State Grid Corporation of the "big operation" work demand, Baoding power company completed the renovation and reconstruction of dispatching technical support system, and on the basis of duty scheduling institution at the county level, and realize the integration and development of the county regulation system construction. The radiation area of Baoding grid is larger after county integration, more complex structure, which puts forward new requirements for automatic voltage control.In this paper, the construction of automatic voltage control system in Baoding power network is an example, and some key steps in the construction and implementation of automatic voltage control system are analyzed. Through the use of the actual operation data of SCADA, the strategy of optimizing automatic voltage control, adjusting the voltage and reactive power, the safety, economic and stable operation of the whole Baoding power network are improved, and the voltage qualified rate among different nodes in the county is improved, and the loss of power network is also reduced. Automatic voltage control based on the voltage of the prefecture county integrated counties company, from scattered by various scheduling adjustment to centralized control, Baoding power grid reactive power from the local compensation into optimization compensation, hierarchical balance. The solution proposed in this paper for automatic voltage control integration and the integration of the county improved control has a certain reference value.
