As drive machinery, asynchronous motors have been widely used in the production and living areas. motor fault will not only damage the motor itself, can also affect the whole transmission system, causing economic losses, casualties even.So it is quite necessary for motor fault diagnosis. Bearing failure accounted for about 30%~40% of the motor fault,therefore,efficient detection for the bearing fault is one of the important measures to guarantee the safe operation of the motor.With the asynchronous motor as the research object, this paper introduces the basic structure of rolling bearing,expounds the mechanism of bearing fault vibration, analyzes the bearing fault characteristics of vibration frequency and stator current frequency. Asynchronous motor bearing fault detection system includes two aspects of algorithm and hardware. In algorithm, based on spectrum analysis of the stator current, this paper proposes a detection method which combined singular value decomposition(SVD) filtering and amplitude phase estimation(amplitude and phase estimation, APES). SVD filter can effectively filter out noise signal in order to prominent characteristic frequency signal. APES algorithm has high frequency resolution and can still be accurately identified even for a short time signal. Experiment on a Y100L-2 type asynchronous was conducted, results show that the algorithm based on SVD filtering and APES of asynchronous motor bearing fault detection was effective.In aspect of hardware this paper introduces the hardware resource of OMAP-L138 development board,function characteristics and analyzes the device development process steps.Base on the OMAPL-138 developing device, completed the design of signal acquisition system. The system mainly includes system initialization, A/D conversion, data storage design. signal acquisition system is the foundation for subsequent development.
