| Open spandrel stone arch bridge,with natu ral stone as material,has many advantages such as material saving,smart structure and high strength.It accounts for large proportion of the Structural Engineering Bridge in our country.Due to cyclic loads,environment changes,a surge in traffic and other reasons,a large number of existing open spandrel stone arch bridges have been damaged,and they are unable to m eet the requirements of existing traffic load.In order to en sure the saf ety of those bridges,their construct must be detected to find out whether they are sufficient in load-carrying capacity or not.Then the sufficient ones can be maintained,reinforced and recon structed.Based on the considerations above,general detection methods of open spandrel stone arch bridge are discussed,analyzes a certain specified open spandrel stone arch b ridge is analyzed by calculating its bearing capacity and testing its static load,then evaluates the ca rrying capacity is eval uated by introducing the correction factor in this paper.The study in the following areas are commenced in this paper :(1)The status and significance of the empty stone arch bridges detection are discussed,and the main contents are proposed.(2)Different types of stone arch bridges a nd methods of detecting are stated,and the theoretical analysis on loading test is discussed.(3)The and evaluation project of a specified damaged open spandrel stone arch bridge in the mountainous area is set as an exam ple to do com prehensive detection and disease diagnosis.The finite element space model is bu ilt and analyzed based on the field test.The internal force of the k ey sections is extrac ted to get th e most unfavorable lo ad effect combination of main arch ring section and calculate bearing capacity.(4)Static load tes t and analysis of finite element space model of open spandrel stone arch bridge are commened. |
