Abstract:With the increase of service time and the development of transportation, the aging problem of existing bridges has became more and more serious. The problem is much more complicated due to low constriction standard or poor operation management of early construction bridge. As a result, a lot of this kind of bridge has accumulated different degrees of structural damage. Inspection, evaluation and rehabilitation technology has become an important field. The evaluation of their performance of some existing bridges poses many difficulties due to lack of design drawings and constriction data. By taking JIBU bridge in Jiangxi province as an example, the paper summarized the experimental work conducted which include information collection, element analysis, the appearance test, load test and the assessment of functional state for use. The followings are the main work:1. The paper established finite element model of beam element based on ventral of two hinges and the three hinges and restoring former drawing by field measuring data. Determining the initial load by a process of elimination based on the design year and load standard.2. According to the load level based on the finite element model, experimental work of appearance and static, dynamic load test are conducted.3. As to the existing bridge lack of basic data, proposed one method for evaluate the stiffness and flexible work status of the bridge according to P-Δ curve based on vehicle queue load test combing with the background of Engineering Application Research.4. The paper analyzed the accuracy of the model and its influence factors such as the cracked concrete, the simulation of pipe foundation, the division of soil spring unit and so on.5. By combining the theoretical analysis with the results of static and dynamic load test, the paper characterize the stiffness and the bearing capacity of Ji Bu Bridge and came to the conclusion that it can meet the requirement of GanLong Railway construction vehicle. Some specific recommendations and appropriate management measures are proposed.
