Automotive ride comfort,handling stability,along with our country accumulation of automobile industry technology is more and more valued.In the process of vehicle development also introduced a variety of virtual prototype technology to improve the performance of the vehicle development.But the reality is that in the field of coach in our country still retain a large number of traditional suspension structure,because of the old suspension technology and weak performance and development ability,make the traditional coach ride comfort of the vehicle can not satisfy people's demand for riding.For a certain type coach in the process of customers to use reflect the rear seat vibration impact is bigger,any discomfort.After the ride comfort test was carried out on the prototype test results reflect the situation described is consistent with the customers.After research the same type coach at home and abroad,made a solution as follow: restructuring after the suspension,inherent frequency,by lowering the rear suspension using complex variable stiffness characteristics of air suspension to improve vehicle ride comfort.The main content of this paper include:According to the performance of the decomposed the target vehicle suspension design parameters for the composite air suspension design process in detail,and in this paper,we focus on the application of air spring stiffness characteristics study of the stiffness characteristic expression is deduced,points out the greatly influence on diaphragm-type air spring stiffness is piston shape,and by changing the piston restructuring air spring to the suspension design goal.And the air spring and shock absorber performance test was designed.The application of virtual prototype technology in the scheme,established after the restructuring of suspension and the vehicle simulation model,and based on this suspension simulation and handling and stability simulation.By comparing the restructuring test data and the accuracy of the model is demonstrated by the simulation data.On the ride comfort simulation and the original vehicle test to verify the feasibility of the scheme.
