Hydropower is the largest clean and renewable energy with the most mature technology. And hydropower has become more and more popular with its low cost and superior performance. Although in recent years, the research of system optimization of hydropower has achieved fruitful results, but China's hydropower optimization scheduling system still has many problems because of the uneven distribution of hydropower and power grid construction lag. It mainly reflected in (1) Hydropower system short-term scheduling related to the actual operating details and the electricity should use power grid transmission and distribution. But few existing scheduling method have given full consideration for grid operation constraints. Lead to the optimization of the scheduling results are dissatisfied with the grid operation constraints or power consumption is suboptimal. (2) The making method for the operation plan for power grid dispatching plan flow checking is low automation and efficiency. It is hard to realize the short-term scheduling flow checking and analysis. (3) The power grid operation plan is based on the comprehensive data of Grid, provincial and city. And the dispatching plan flow checking of all the dispatching department should base on the whole operation plan. It is an increase of the complexity of the problem.In order to solve the problems mentioned above, this paper made the following research.(1) In order to the power receiving side electricity maximum, constructed a short term optimal operation model of hydropower system which considering the constraints. At the same time, In order to solve the defects of the traditional genetic algorithm, this paper proposed a continuity differential genetic algorithm which combines genetic algorithm and discrete differential dynamic programming. In order to improve the performance of the algorithm and solving efficiency, this paper uses the Fork/Join multi kernel framework solving the algorithm.(2) In order to achieve different power system short-term scheduling flow checking analysis, this paper established a basic grid build method for flow checking which adapt different scheduling mechanism and different voltage level. The simplification method was established from six side. It contains basic operation mode chosen method, automatic parameter identification method, network node selection method, network traversal method, equivalent data acquisition and splicing method and provincial tie line processing method. This is the gird basis of flow data synchronization checking and analysis.(3) Based on the simplified operation plan, relation model and web technology, established a dispatching plan automatic acquisition and integration method. Then based on integrated operation mode, proposed a power balance method and flow convergence optimization method. A complete BPA format operation plan which has high stability and can meet the need of checking analysis will be formed. This is the initial value of dispatching plan flow checking and analysis. The operation plan of BPA format is checked and analyzed by using BPA software, and the power flow check of scheduling plan is realized.At the end of this paper, the research results of this paper are summarized, and the direction of further research is prospected.
