Ship automatic identification system(AIS)is the equipment that must be equipped with the shipping vessel,which has very important significance to ensure water transportation safety,and promote the development of water transportation.But as a result of the radio coverage limitation,it was unable to complete the communication beyond coverage,which leads to that AIS was unable to complete the receiving and sending of information,and can not achieve the effective monitoring for the ship in some areas,especially,in the ocean.Beidou satellite navigation system(BDS)of China can determine the geographical,ocation information of the user in its service area in the real-time,and provide precise timing and short message communication service,successfully solving the problem of data communication of the remote areas.Beidou satellite navigation system will make up for the existing AIS monitoring blind spots to a large extent,especially apply to the ocean ship surveillance,with the characteristics of combing positioning and communication functions.So this paper proposes the technology solutions of AIS information broadcasting platform based on Beidou satellite navigation system,and to research it,under the background of that our country vigorously promote the development and application of Beidou satellite navigation system.The purpose of the AIS information broadcast platform based on Beidou satellite navigation system researched and developed in this paper,is to parse the AIS message and send the part location information of this vessel by means of Beidou short message.The main work contents of this paper,includes six aspects: First,do a simple study on the Beidou satellite navigation and positioning technology,propose algorithm model of the GPS/BDS system,and apply the filtering algorithm on the model;Second,make overall design for the AIS broadcasting platform based on beidou satellite navigation system,formulate software development plan for the broadcast platform in Visual c + +6.0 development environment;Third,research serial port communication of computer based on Visual c + +6.0 software development platform,program to realize the serial communication based on MSComm control;Forth,analysis and research the AIS cables and the interface protocols with the computer,program to realize message parsing and information extraction;Fifth,analysis and research is the Beidou short message format and the interface protocols with computer,make sending message,program to realize the sending of target information;Sixth,set up the test hardware platform,debug the AIS information broadcast platform,recording operation result.Eventually,the operation result shows that the AISinformation broadcast platform based on Beidou satellite navigation system researched and developed has achieved the goal of real-time receiving AIS information,realized sending AIS information sent making use of BDS.
