In recent years, the rapid development of rail transit in our country has become the preferred scheme to solve the problems of urban traffic congestion in big cities. The operation safety is closely related to people's property security, nation's economic development and social stability. Passenger monitoring is not only an important means to guarantee the safe operation but also the important content in the daily operation of rail transit stations. However, at present, the monitoring system of rail transit is mainly the passive detection, and a lack of active response is difficult to meet the stations' requirements for automatic control.The passenger flow detection of urban rail transit stations takes the requirements of stations as a background, regards the real-time passenger flow image inside the stations a research object, compresses the real-time information collected by the camera OV7670 within the station, compresses all kinds of resolution data, such as the complete frame, sub sampling, window, etc output through SCCB but control with wavelet compression chip ADV611, then sends them into ARM chip STM32 to realize data storage and data transmission, transmits the data of YUV422 format to the remote control center through the network, and the control center indentifies and tracks the real-time passenger flow in each area of the station through the monitoring software. The improved monitoring and control system can not only normally monitor the passenger flow but also judge the safety level of passenger flow, which can ensure the real-time demands.The main work is as follows:First, through the domestic and international passenger traffic monitoring system status of research, summarized the difficulties facing traffic monitoring system, to clarify the meaning of the design of the system.Second, the hardware of the system, first module chip model chosen, detailing the module collection, storage, data reading process. Discusses the overall image processing module works, detailing the wavelet video codec ASIC ADV611, FPGA control chip EP2C5Q208C8, the module hardware circuit design, including: image processing module circuit design, circuit design and design of the power supply module EP2C5Q208C8.Third, the system software part, describes the process of data acquisition, processing, reading and writing, transmission, etc., the detailed design of the 0V7670 image acquisition module register configuration, initialization, read and write the program, each module to read and write data transfer program design and timing simulation data for each module.Fourth, according to the simulation results, and combined with the realistic background, determine safe levels of passenger determination parameters. Its parameters to meet the requirements of sustainable development, while the passenger flow monitoring system expansion also study and practical application is important and difficult to study.The system can achieve the Rail Passenger image processing and analysis, parameter extraction, and security level determination and other functions, and to the railway station daily operation management and security work provides the corresponding technical support, the system itself has a strong adaptability.
