Concurrent design is a systematic work mode for the concurrent and integrated design of products and related processes. Concurrent design emphasizes that the product development and design staff should take into account the whole life cycle of the product development. Through the integrated development team, the product design is more coordinated, reduce the development process, and then improve product quality and shorten product development cycle. Task decomposition and task scheduling problem is an important prerequisite for concurrent design, and it can effectively solve this problem, which directly affects the whole parallel design process. Therefore, it has very important significance to carry out the task decomposition and task scheduling problem in the concurrent design:Firstly, the task decomposition granularity is divided into the design object granularity and the design process granularity, and the method of quantitative analysis and calculation is carried out. Secondly, based on the task of DSM, the task of the first decomposition is classified and the results are evaluated.Second, combined with the scheduling algorithm and conflict handling to determine the task scheduling scheme, a parallel design scheduling model is proposed. In the first part, we use the multi thread mechanism to avoid the generation of conflict, and propose a method to generate the scheduling scheme based on the state transition. Then, we consider various factors that affect the task priority. Finally, we propose three strategies to resolve the problem.Third, the task decomposition and task scheduling model is applied to the design and development of mechanical products. The design and scheduling of a car clutch development project are carried out. The design requirements and the deadline of the clutch are met.
