In view of the present environmental pollution harms to mankind as well as it is increasingly required to save energy, reduce pollution emission and protect environment in China. The shore power supply system is successfully resolves port environmental pollution caused by the operation of the ship. Therefore, it is become the hot topic to using shore power as an alternative for ship diesel engine power to deal with the pollution. The shore power supply of this topic is designed for berthing ships as its power distribution unit,whose main role is to transform the 380 volts,50 Hz three-phase alternating current into the Volts and Frequency, which can be used for electrical appliances of the ship.The shore power supply system mainly includes two parts: high power electronic variable voltage variable frequency(VVVF) module,ship power and shore power fast connection and seamless switching module. This paper focus on VVVF module. Put forward the VVVF system designing based on DSP chip TMS320F2812, the sine pulse width modulation(SPWM) technology control plan. In order to reduce the complexity of the control circuit and improve the flexibility of the inverter the digital method is used, which contains:the generation of SPWM wave and the realization of digital incremental PID algorithm. The hardware design aims at three-phase rectifier inverter circuit and control circuit two parts, which includes three-phase uncontrolled rectifier bridge?power factor correction(APFC) circuit?three-phase full bridge inverter?filter circuit?output voltage and frequency sampling circuit?regulating circuit?three-phase bridge driving circuit?auxiliary power supply circuit?man-machine interface design and so on.The use of MATLAB/Simulink software to emulate each modules of the three-phase rectifier inverter circuit and the whole system. As a result the frequency?amplitude and input power factor are successfully controlled and the voltage harmonic factor reaches the expected value 3%?continuous input current and input power factor reaches at 0.9?output frequency error is less than 0.5%?overshoot reduce to 16.2% and the setting is 0.05 s.Which verifies that the design meets the requirements of these indicators. The shore power supply has advantages of high efficiency ? high overload capacity ? high stability and flexible switch. It will be widely used in ship power system in the future.
