Fuel cell vehicles will be the future development direction of new energy vehicles. But due to technical and cost factors, it is not widely used yet. There are many key technology in fuel cell vehicles, and gas provide module technology is one of them. As the main gas supply module, the scroll compression and expansion machine meet devoid of oil fuel cell system, small volume, low noise characteristics. In addition, this machine also integrates the exhaust energy recovery device.The author and his team take the design work of gas supply module and exhaust air energy recovery device, under the background of a fuel cell vehicles power system project in a company. This paper research content is as follows:Complete scheme analysis and design under the technical requirements of gas supply module. In the aspect of theory, the design of the scroll lines and head of scroll wrap fixed, to solve the working volume, to solve the Volume ratio and pressure ratio and the design of dynamic balance. then analyze the temperature of the most important factor in the machine, and design the cooling scheme in detail. Setting up the mechanics model on the basis of theoretical analysis of key parts for force analysis. In the aspect of structure, do analysis and calculation of the design under the precondition of technical indicators. Then make a detailed analysis of different structure, and determine appropriate structure and parameters of parts to form eventually. And in the end, complete machine structure design and optimization.The stress and strain of orbiting scroll under the both specific and different coupling field of temperature and gas forces are simulated by using ANSYS software. The change rule of stress and stain is obtained. The compressed gas force on the scroll wrap. By the temperature force produced by the compressed gas and the scroll plates friction, it can cause the thermal deformation and thermal stress of the Orbiting Scroll. It indicated that the stress and strain of orbiting scroll are mainly affected by the temperature field. The greatest deformation occurs in the tooth head of scroll wrap. Deformation and stress are within the scope of the permit.
