The embankment safety of small mountainous watershed is a lifeline of the national economic and social development,high embankment safety can bring economic benefits.On the contrast,low embankment safety will lead to life and property losses.However,security level depends on the correct evaluation technology.Therefore,using the correct safety evaluation technology plays a critical embankment engineering benefits,which affects the stability of national economic and social development.Based on hierarchy process and grey correlation fused method and risk analysis,the safety of small mountainous watershed embankment was evaluated.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Simple introduced the small mountainous watershed embankment's failure mode(overtopping,seepage and instability damage);then discusses main influencing factors of affecting the safety of small mountainous watershed embankment;the comprehensive evaluation system based on hierarchy analysis of safety theory has carried on the simple introduction to the theory of the grey correlation degree,then based on this,advances the fusion based on analytic hierarchy process(APH)and grey correlation degree of embankment safety evaluation method.(2)Finite element numerical simulation and monte carlo sampling method,studied the embankments at the top of the flood and infiltration and instability of three methods of risk analysis of failure mode,in view of the seepage failure mode when the limitations of monte carlo sampling method,combining the Latin hypercube sampling(LHS-MC)and monte carlo method is presented based on the LHS-MC embankment seepage failure risk analysis,to calculate the risk value of levee in various failure modes,levee engineering operation risk analysis and evaluation.(3)For a mountainous catchment levee section in the Yuan River as a example,through the use of fusion based on analytic hierarchy process(ahp)and grey correla-tion degree of embankment safety evaluation method and based on the LHS-MC embankment seepage failure risk analysis methods on the safety evaluation and risk analysis,obtained the embankment safety index and three failure modes of the risk of instability.Calculation results are in conformity with the engineering practice,the safety evaluation and risk analysis of the embankment has a strong guiding signify-cance.
