As a social problem, waste rubber need to be treated properly.Rubberized concrete as a new type of concrete material can be a good use of waste rubber. This paper focuses on the basic mechanical properties of rubberized concrete(RC),basic mechanical properties and bending properties of fiber-reinforced rubberized concrete(FRC),the main work are as follows:(1)180 RC cubes and 66 RC beams were prepared in the test,micro-structure analysis with SEM,compressive strength, tensile strength and bending strength of concrete with different curing age and rubber replace ratio were carried on.Then the fitting formula under different condition was given.By adding rubber particles in the concrete, cracks appear in concrete can be delayed, but the concrete strength will be reduced, and the larger rubber particles content, the strength is reduced more.(2)20 FRC cubes and 15 FRC beams were prepared in the test, compressive strength, tensile strength and bending strength of FRC with different curing age were carried on.The fitting formula between mechanical properties and curing age were given. The cube compressive strength, the tensile strength and flexural strength of FRC can be significantly improved with the rubber mixing.(3)27 FRC beams were prepared for flexural toughness test,he INSTRON-8802 electro-hydraulic servo fatigue testing machine was used to apply four-points bending load, and displacement control method was selected to get load-displacement curves.Based on the test data,ASTM C1018 standard,DBV toughness index method and "steel fiber reinforced concrete test method" were used to evaluated the flexural bendingproperty of FRC,respectively.Compared FRC with plain concrete, the FRC has good ductility and toughness. From the test data we can see that there must be an optimum rubber particles content and steel fiber content.
