With the development of modern technology, hydropower has made in the last ten years, rapid development, and specific speed turbine unit capacity increases, its structure is more complex, unit stability attendant problems have become increasingly prominent. Properly designed, well-structured hydro run reliably for more than 50 years without major repairs. But after years of running hydro, often certain failures affecting the reliability of operation, shorten the service life, after several overhauls, equipment problems can not be completely resolved, leading to the power system reliability. Especially after years of repair of turbine structural components, structural parts stiffness and strength can not be guaranteed, there is a phenomenon of aging and the band "disease" to run the generator manufacturing process behind the aging of insulating material, the stator core and the rotor poles loose, prone to short-circuit even fires and explosions and other accidents, so it is imperative transformation. New technologies, new materials, new technology and other means of turbine generators by using transform and improve efficiency of single and enhance the safety and reliability of operation, become an effective way to fully develop water, improve water utilization.This thesis studies the key technology transformation 10.5k V old hydroelectric generating set,combined with the Zhelin Hydropower Station 45 MW hydroelectric generating set of the real machine renovation, proposed to improve the safe and stable operation of the generator set power line and the economic benefits of the present thesis measures. By Zhelin Hydropower Unit 1 transformation cost and performance analysis, economic research Turbine Plant. By Zhelin Hydropower Plant transformation scheme comparison, work out the most suitable for the old units Zhelin hydropower engineering methods to improve operational safety and stability through model tests of the new runner, verify through the transformation of the utilization of hydropower units increase. By Zhelin hydropower generators transform analysis, developed programs to improve the insulation level and to improve security and stability of each electrification equipment operation. Comparative analysis before and after the actual operation by the transformation, the transformation of research work based views provide a favorable outcome of proof.
