At present, the voltage quality control mod adopted by county electric network is still based on nine area chart adjustment strategy, This method can ease a single substation or local scope`s problem of voltage stability efficiently in a short time, but in the long run, this method cannot optimize the general situation of county electric network and it is not reasonable economically. In addition, for some substation that have already adopted voltage quality control system, there are some problems such as system aging, poor human-computer interaction, poor capacity of station coordination control and poor capacity of time pacing, which gives rise to many hidden danger of reactive voltage county electric network. in order to increase the safety, economy and power equality, and decrease the risk of voltage collapse of county electric network and decrease the active power loss. and relieve the dispatcher`s labor intensity, this paper uses Bazhou power grid as example to analyze the construction and application of reactive voltage optimized system.Fistly, this paper proposes the research direction based on the study of the current situation of Bazhou power grid`s voltage quality control and the existing problems of safety, economy and power equality, then it studies the theory of voltage quality control, optimization algorithm, control strategy and control mode and so on. Secondly, this paper proposes global optimization control strategy to design the scheme of Bazhou power grid`s reactive voltage optimization system construction. it sets up a basic frame structure and analyzes programs of main station control, substation coordination control and plant-station coordination control and then studies these programs` reliable solution.Thirdly, it presents the embedded realization process of AVC mode of Bazhou power grid and D5000 system, and then it design and studies the data interaction function of integrated system and the realization of human machine interface. Lastly, it studies the application of the integrated system in Bazhou power grid. through the analysis of main function of integrated system, application effect and the comparison between old and new system, thus the rationality and effectiveness of the system application in Bazhou power grid are verified.
