In recent years, with the rapid development of Jiangxi power grid, especially the establishment and gradual consolidation of 500kV power network, the transmission and transformation capacity of Jiangxi power grid has substantially increased. It provides reliable electricity protection for economic development in Jiangxi Province. Besides, the implementation of dispatching and supervisory control integration in Jiangxi electric dispatch and control center improves the ability to control the running status of power grid and the ability to precisely analyze and manage accidents, which can effectively prevent and control the risk of power grid. At the same time, with the development of automation and intelligentization of power grid, the dispatch and control center also needs an automatic voltage control system based on reactive power optimization of the whole network. It can coordinate and control reactive power flow of power grid from an overall situation, realize automatic regulation of voltage and reactive power, rationally coordinate distribution of reactive power to ensure the safety and steady operation of power grid. It also can improve voltage quality, decrease grid losses and reduce labor intensity of operator.This essay makes analysis on basic theories of reactive power optimization and its algorithm. It presents practical implementation methods based on the actual characteristics of reactive power optimization. According to the present situation of Jiangxi power grid, it proposes the control model, the technical route and feasible implementation plan which are available to Jiangxi power grid AVC system. At last, it makes a specific introduction on practical application of AVC system in Jiangxi power grid. |
