As the basis for the national economy, the power system sustainable development is closely related to China's economic stability development; reliable power will greatly improve the lives of residents and businesses. As an important part of the power system substation, it is responsible for energy conversion and distribution of important work. To ensure the safety and reliability of power transmission project, it is need to strengthen its project management.However, the power transmission project construction conditions is complex, involving a wide range of professional and extremely practical, complexity, risk and characteristics of diversity, resulting generally in accordance with a verbal command to execute workflows in the actual construction, which resulted in the project management process, a lack of systematic management. Construction problems of insecurity and poor working efficiency greatly influenced the construction of the substation; therefore, the power transmission engineering project schedule optimization and control to ensure the timely completion of transmission project will become an important topic of project management. In this paper, power transmission project for the study, a lot of literature to read, understand and abroad in transmission project schedule optimization studies in the field of the status quo. Secondly, the analysis of the characteristics and methods of transmission project schedule management. Shenyang against New South 66 kV Transmission Project, the use of project WBS decomposition, and the establishment of a Gantt chart for the professional division for visual display. Then, aiming at the characteristics of Shenyang New South 66 kV Transmission Project, established schedule optimization model, using improved differential evolution optimization algorithm to scheduleThe results show that the improved differential evolution algorithm validity and applicability in transmission project schedule optimization problems, for transmission project schedule optimization solution provides a new way of thinking.
