The Belt Freeway Traffic Flow Characteristics And Traffic Flow Model Research

With the development of urban transportation network construction,urban beltway highway outside the city as a roundabout way for the rapid expansion of urban space has played a guiding role.Ring Expressway traffic to build a dynamic model and dynamic traffic situation assessment is an important foundation for the overall metropolitan transportation network planning and traffic management.As the road network supply capacity of dynamic traffic model is a reasonable set of calibration parameters and accurate assessment of the key dynamic traffic situation.To study beltway highway traffic flow and traffic flow model is a better way to reveal the basic law beltway freeway traffic flow and improve the advancement beltway highway system.It provides a good foundation for the latter part of the construction and operation of Ring Expressway management.Therefore,beltway highway traffic flow and traffic flow model are extensively studied in this article,including:(1)It analyzes the characteristics,the type of function,traffic composition of Belt freeway,and the differences between the ordinary highways and urban expressway;It depth study the relationship between Belt freeway and the city and its relationship with the cross-border traffic.(2)It study of Belt freeway traffic characteristics,the relationship between the basic characteristics of traffic flow parameters and the relationship between the space and time average velocity and share-density relations.Based on traffic flow data,it chooses the highway-ring around VanAerde four parameter single structure model for traffic flow characteristic parameters calibration.(3)Based on parameter calibration for 24 hours measured data more dependent on traditional traffic flow characteristics,it proves on the quantitative characteristics beltway freeway traffic flow analysis and uses a way of "physical characteristics factors directly derive characteristic parameters of traffic flow".The idea is proposed for physical Belt freeway traffic flow parameters characteristic parameter model attributes,and Beijing city highway traffic flow characteristic example parameter model estimation and testing.(4)It is to calibrate traffic flow characteristic parameters of Xi’an beltway freeway.The measured physical property data collection road by traffic flow parameters of the model based on the physical properties of Ring Expressway,the free-flow speed,capacity,critical speed and obstruction parameters density and traffic flow parameters of the measured value is compared with the traditional method of obtaining the analysis,model validation,and proposed two applications.Conclusions show,based on the physical properties of the Ring Expressway traffic flow characteristic parameter model reduces the dependence of the measured data,better traffic flow characterization Ring motorway.
