In Gansu province area of China Northwest,Arid and semi-arid phenomenon is very serious,the phenomenon of lacks water resources not only impact the region's economic development speed, but also make people's life becomes more difficult, Having no water to eat has affected the survival of people in the region. Country start a series of rainwater utilization project in order to solve the outstanding problem of reality after country understanding to the seriousness of the problem. All these benefiting engineering measures successfully solve the problem people who have no water to eat, also makes the region's water crisis eased greatly. But after long-term drinking JiaoShui, people appeared a lot of diseases caused by JiaoShui water quality. Because the location of water cellar area is complex, water cellar is accompanied by landfill, near roads, livestock,and these factors for JiaoShui water quality has very big effect. In addition, the rainwater storage process can also lead to JiaoShui appear the phenomenon of water quality deterioration and stale, if people drink it directly, the harm to human body is very big. In the report of JiaoShui quality: JiaoShui is often associated with bad smell?color? comparison and turbidity, and contains a lot of poisonous and harmful pollutants. Excessive amounts of contaminants include bacteria,escherichia coli,colour, turbidity, heavy metals, etc. We find micro organic pollutants which include Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and phthalate. Generally speaking, although people have water to drink, but water quality whether is safety and health or not become a new problem in these regions.In view of the above problem,this paper puts forward a kind of enhanced coagulation and biological activated carbon technology, and we designe automatic backwash system which is based on no valve filter principle. Processing flow: Raw water-Lift pump-cistern-Quartz sand filtration column-Activated carbon filter column-The disinfection of water purification process and the flushing cistern-Quartz sand filtration column-Siphon down pipe-The water seal box.The experiment's water is simulated by reference to JiaoShui related indicators. Research and explore the integration process device's Removal efficiency for JiaoShui. This study aims at alternative technologies for the northwest rural drinking water safety.In the experiment of different particle size of activated carbon for JiaoShui treatment effect,we study natural biofilm with cellar water for coal activated carbon by 1mm?2mm?3mm,and determine the biological activated carbon microbial adaptation period, biofilm growth, biofilm maturation time, and study the activated carbon of different size for the removal of pollutants. The results showed that : three little difference in the time period when three size activated carbon is biofilming, but there is a difference of three particle size of activated carbon to remove pollutants for cellar water.In the coagulation experiments, coagulant PAC and PAFC have a great contribution to remove the CODMn and turbidity of water. When coagulant dosage is 25 mg / L, the PAC and PAFC on turbidity and CODMn removal rate reached the maximum. But in comparison, the flocculation effect of PAFC is better; the best point of the range is broad.Micro sand additive in cellar water turbidity and CODMn removal has greatly improved. Particle size has a larger influence on the formation of flocs, with the increase of particle size, cellar water turbidity and CODMn removal will be reduced. When the particle size range of 0 < d < 0.05 mm, the effluent water quality is best.Micro sand dosing quantity on cellar water turbidity and CODMn removal has a great influence, when the micro sand additive quantity is 1.0 g/L, the coagulation effect is best, when dosing quantity is greater than or less than 1.0 g/L, cellar water turbidity and CODMn removal will be reduced.In determining the best filter speed experiment of sand filter.With 0.25 m/h,0.5 m/h, 0.75m/h,1.0m/h,1.25m/h we examine the five filter speed sand filter filtration velocity influence on filtering effect. Results show that the sand filter in turbidity removal effect is obvious and filtration velocity on turbidity removal effect is greatly influenced,Sand filter removal effect on UV254 weak and filtration velocity of UV254 removal effect is weak; 0.75 m/h is the optimal filter speed and water yield is the largest.Finally on the device in the operation,results show that the water treatment equipment can keep the water's turbidity under 1 NTU,the average removal rate reached 91.06%; the water's ammonia nitrogen?CODMn and UV254 which flow from the device conform to the drinking water standards, the average removal rate reached 82.12% ? 82.04% and 48.32%. The water purification technology is simple. We can operate the device conveniently. The device's filtration and reverse wash all can happen automatically and the device has function to resistance to impact load. The device is suitable for the northwest rural household units to deal with JiaoShui. Thus be concluded that the chosen topic was originally expected to reach the water treatment process, to fully meet the drinking water requirements. Computing device while operating costs, economic rationality. Thus, the subject chosen treatment process to achieve initial expectations.
