The external force damage is the main cause of short circuit and tripping of transmission lines in recent years,and it is also an important factor which threatens the security of power grid and affects the social stability.In the type of external damage of transmission line,construction machinery has become a major threat to the safety of transmission lines.In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of transmission lines,it is important to deal with the construction machinery homework or offline traffic around the transmission lines.Therefore,the designs of intelligent identification of construction machinery and automatic warning of transmission line protection system are an important way to reduce the external damage faultof transmission line.Anew algorithm of moving target detection and tracking based on the color,shape and operation characteristics of construction machinery is proposed in this paper.The algorithm uses the Gaussian background modeling to detect moving targets,combining with the morphology and connected domain to calculate the position and number of targets.Meanwhile,in order to determine the target is in accord with the characteristics of mechanical engineering,the algorithm of Graham scan and rotation block are used to calculateminimum circumscribed rectangle of the target.Finally,the Kalman filter and MeanShift are combined to realize the target tracking.The algorithm is realized withC and has a good portability.The system of transmission lines against external damage based on DSP is designed in this paper,which adopts TMS320C6657 with the dual core DSP chip of KeyStone architecture.The chip hasthe advantages of low power consumption,high speed,large storage space,and rich peripheral interfaces.The system adopts RTSP protocol to realize video transmission,which ensures the speed and image quality of video transmission and greatly improves the system’s real-time performance and reliability.Experimental results show that the system has a high warning accuracy and good real-time performance,which can effectively reduce the force of transmission line failure and ensures the safe and stable operation of the power grid.Meanwhile,the systemhas a good prospect of engineering application,and can bring great social benefits and economic benefits.
