Power transmission and transformation equipment in the field are exposure for a long time due to the transmission line tower installation,wide area,long distance,which is vulnerable to the bad weather and vandalism.And this poses a threat to power grid safety and personnel life property.Therefore,this paper studies transmission lines with external force damage early warning technology to found the potential danger before transmission line damage and report to the police in time.Transmission line with external force damage monitoring system is based on the principle of infrared ray,microwave induction and video monitoring methods nowadays.Although it’s possible to monitor the invasion of the existence of the object through these methods,these methods are easy to produce false positives due to interference from the outside.A single video monitoring is the most widely used method,but it exists monitoring blind area.Therefore,it’s especially necessary to prevent video monitoring blind area,improve power performance and ensure reliable alarm system through the video and radar technology research.To solve above problems,this paper studies a kind of transmission line with external force damage monitoring technology to enhance the accuracy of monitoring and ensure the safe operation of the power grid.This paper studies the video technology in the optical flow method,method of frame difference,background difference method and Gaussian background modeling method.This paper selects the Gaussian background modeling method to judge the invasion of the shape of the object characteristics,through the comparison of video technology in the optical flow method,method of frame difference and background difference method and Gaussian background modeling method.To prevent monitoring blind area in the video monitoring,this paper studies the radar sensor detection technology to detect the existence of the invasion of the target and movement characteristics.At the same time through the alarm and monitoring platform warning device that invasion and staff pay attention to site safety.Aiming at the false positives interference may exist in the process of monitoring,this paper puts forward the radar to detect objects using the method of video monitoring site condition after invasion,and gives the hardware and software design of monitoring system mainly contains video module,radar module,alarm circuit,wireless transmission scheme selection,system power supply scheme selection,monitoring platform for software design and field application test in the end.The actual installation of application test In Ningxia electric Power Company showed that,the application of the transmission line with external force damage early warning technology can detect dangerous situations within 5 meters from the transmission line pole and 3 meters higher than the offline.Real-time early warning and monitoring platform in the field can alert invasion object dangers at the scene and the staff on-site,which reduces the transmission wire and the phenomenon of the external force damage effectively,and avoids the blind area of the defects of single video monitoring and the loss of resources and economic with the characteristics of low rate of false positives and less power consumption.
