With the rapid development of chinese economy, the demand for energy of our country is growing vigorously; the outstanding malpractice of low energy efficiency and pollutant emissions exceeding makes the full implementation of policies of energy-saving and emission-reduction become more and more urgent. As the focus scopes of the policy implementation, power industry is the important research object of achieving energy-saving and emission-reduction in our country. The current disptch of thermal power units in Yunnan province is still in the stage of traditional dispatch, however, there are some serious problem on this disptch mode:effects of energy saving is not obvious and emission is excessive.Contray to the insufficience of custom dispatch mode, a method is proposed in this paper to achieve the goal of energy-saving and emission-reduction through generation dispatch on units, and further research is conducted to study the specific dispatch model, at last, this paper gives the comprehensive performance of units under different dispatch. This paper includes these contents:analysis based on operational characteristics of units in Yunnan province under the current dispatch mode?calculation and comparision the dispatch results between energy-saving and emission-reduction generation dispatch and economic dispatch as well as evaluation on the comprehensive performance of units under different dispatch.The real-time operation data of eight typical units in Yunnan province is taken as the basic data of research on energy-saving and emission-reduction generation dispatch in this paper. By connecting and filtering original real-time data from Yunnan province, the propertyless curves of coal consumption and emissions of each unit have been fitted and the specific models of energy-saving and emission-reduction generation dispatch are established; the improved particle swarm algorithm is proposed to solve these models and the results are contrasted and analyzed to probe the difference between economic dispatch and energy-saving and emission-reduction generation dispatch, the average coal consumption and emissions of units after energy-saving and emission-reduction generation dispatch are calculated and their magnitude are compared. Considering economic performance and environmental performance, hierarchy tree of comprehensive performance of units by analytic hierarchy process is established and the grey correlation degree of rule layer is calculated according to the grey correlation degree of index layer, furthermore, integrate performance on economy and environment of units under different dispatch is obtained and contrasted, at last, this paper draw a conclusion that the comprehensive performance of the dispatch model that choose cost of power generation in totel system as the objective function is best. According to the above research, the research in this paper is expected to be applied to energy saving and emissions reduction of grid company to make comprehensive index of coal consumption and emissions best.
