The Connection Design And Project Application Of Construction And Its Connecting With Enclosure

Building process is all about connection. Connection on one hand helps people to realize their design, on the other hand also expands the possibility of architecture. Aiming at different design, choosing a reasonable and efficient connection is of great significance for building. The reasons for studying connection are as follows:firstly connection affects the efficiency of building process, secondly connection is one of the significant links insuring building safety. Because construction components and enclosure components occupy a large proportion in the quantity of construction, the study aims at these two kinds of components.The content of this research has two aspects, firstly doing the basic research of classic connections aims to excavate their fundamental principles and potential of development, and secondly exploring the design and project application of connection in various cases leads to the summary of the inner application principles. This paper has four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction which contains the backgrounds, methods and technical route of this research. Then the relationship between building process and connection is analyzed in the second chapter by studying component, material, craftwork and detail-design. The third chapter discusses the characteristics, implement principles and application potential of the classic connections. According to the basic research, the following content analyzes the application of connection in specific cases, which contains the connection in construction and the connection between construction and enclosure. The final chapter summaries the inner links of the research contents, and the author practiced them in building projects. At last it concludes the principles of design and application such as stability of connection and efficiency of operation.
