A smart window monitoring system,an important part of the intelligent security system in the smart home,is an intelligent control system.A smart window monitoring system not only applies to the furniture system,but also to modern buildings,such as large factories,buildings,airports and so on,and will play a greater role.So it is very important especially for different types of windows to achieve group control and automatic control and status inquiry.To improve the intelligence of windows and meet the switching needs of the modern architectures' windows,this paper presents the smart window monitoring system based on CAN(Controller Area Network)bus and Wi-Fi.The system can achieve group control,automatic control of the different types of windows and query the switch status of windows via the HMI(Human Machine Interface).The main work of this paper is as follows:1.The system structure extends the bus network topology,not only maintains the system's high reliability,but aslo increases network flexibility.The system structure of CAN bus and Wi-Fi has been respectively studied,and this paper focuses on the issues,such as the relationship between the length of the CAN bus lines and the number of nodes,the length of the CAN bus lines and the termination resistors,the communication distance of Wi-Fi network,the minimum number of access points in the coverage area,and the maximum number of the station that an access point may access etc.The technical solution of wired and wireless communication technology integration conforms to the development trend of a smart window control system.2.The author completes the circuit design of the system and the PCB layout by Altium Designer,welds components as well as completes testing of circuit board and builds up a hardware experimental platform of the system.3.To ensure integrity of the protocol,and improve the reliability of the communication between HMI and the master control unit,the master control unit and the slave control unit.Modbus protocol is utilized.The communication message frames and the communication mechanism belonging to the system is designed.4.To improve security of the system control,the priority of the windows' controli-ng is divided.The low-priority control can not interrupt the high-priority anytime,the low-priority control can be interrupted by the high-priority at anytime.This paper introduces the classification and implementation of windows' security control,focuses on anti-pinch control under non sensors,and completes the system' s complex logic control to improve the security of the system.This paper completed the design of the architecture,the hardware,and the communication protocols and the security control study of the smart window monitoring system.The system functions are constantly verified and improved by debugging.Experimental results show that the smart window monitoring system based on CAN bus and Wi-Fi is feasible and reliability.For the different types of windows,it can achieve group control,automatic control and status inquiry.
