At present,it mainly depends on thermal power to meet the great power consumption for the electric power industry.It need to consume a lot of coal every year,and it cause air pollution.And the wind power generation with its cost,efficiency and power supply range of advantages,has been rapid development.Comparing with the large grid connected wind power system,the development of small scale off grid wind power generation system is not only able to solve the problem of remote areas,but also able to form a complementary with the existing power supply way.So it has high economic and environmental benefits.Now the small scale off grid wind power generation system has been spread in many of the nations where the wind energy resource are rich.But it isn't a large area industrialization.And people still exist biased understanding to it which include the initial investment,maintenance cost and economic benefits.This is due to the complexstructure and variesequipment of domestic small off grid wind power generation system on the stage,which became theinfluence factors for people to have a correct understanding of the small off grid wind power generation system.At present,the small scale wind power generation system have two kinds which include DC system and AC system in China.Among them,the AC system is a more common form,the mainstream structure of small wind power generation system include AC power machine,rectifier,battery pack,charge and discharge controller,monitoring and protection platform,unloading device,inverter and so on.This study made optimal design to the small scale off grid wind power generation system based on the main structure of the wind power generation system,and proposeda new system architecture.Made redesign or model selection to the system components description.Among them,the rectifier adopts a series compensated diode rectifier,which greatly reduces the cost and improves the reliability and performance.The charging and discharging controller achieves the optimization of efficiency and lifetime of the battery pack,and the inverter is based on the DSP-free bipolar inverter.The selection and design of the components also take into account the economic and reliability,which makes the system security,economy and efficiency greatly improved.
