Intelligent substation is different from the traditional substation, which the key reason is intelligent secondary equipment and IEC61850 have a wide applications. The high-speed network communication has been used between secondary equipment and in place of the I/O field interface of the conventional function device and achieve the purpose of data sharing and resource sharing through the network. Therefore, the system structure, the way of data acquisition, the way of data transmission, and communication protocol have been changed fundamentally. The intelligent substation test task toward the development direction of high efficiency, automation and whole substation, this requires not only single function test of IEDs in substation but also involves the whole substation SCD file detection and virtual terminal test etc. But so far secondary system test of substation remains in the traditional mode and there is not yet a unified management of each test and operation automatic test system on the level of the whole station.This paper researches key technology of whole station interconnected automatic test and develops the test platform and has important theoretical significance and engineering application value. The works of this paper are listed as follows:Firstly, the architecture of Intelligent Substation and the test status of the secondary equipment system are introduced and the concept of whole substation interconnected test are putted forward. Overall design is divided into four aspects,which include single device automatic test system, the whole substation SCD file parsing, whole substation graphical design and whole substation function design, and make a brief description of the test process of whole substation;Secondly, automatic testing platform aim at single device is constructed based on intelligent secondary equipment through using the design idea of hierarchical and modular structure. The platform makes test computer, test instrument and measured protection device form a closed loop though switchboard, complete the communication to test equipment by calling the test instrument control interface program and complete the communication to digital protection device by calling the MMS communication program. Automatic test is implemented according to the test templates and report templates and standard test report is outputted when the test completed.This paper analysis SCD file of intelligent substation and realize the graphical design of the substation. Based on in-depth analysis of IEC61850 modeling standards, summary information file and all IED files are getted. Through the summary information file graphical interface of the whole substation is automatically generated and IED files are reserved for for the functional test.This paper put forward the strategy of automatic test of whole substation and realize functional design, which include device data model consistent test, communication test to device, intelligent allocation function test, virtual terminal test and protection function test. Variable tests can be implemented on the graphical interface and test strategy of whole substation is formed.Finally, based on the realization of intelligent substation interconnection test of 500kV HeXiang intelligent substation, this paper verified the correctness and feasibility of the work.the paper provide a brief introduction to the whole substation test process of intelligent substation based on the 500kV HeXiang intelligent substation.
