The emergence of the zoom stereomicroscope solve the problem that the traditional microscope need to cut from one lens to another while zooming. In recent years, with the rapid development of optical processing technology and precision cam curve technology, the applications of the zoom microscope are increasingly expanding. The zoom microscope combined with the continuous progressing digital technology can present a promising expection and value in the future.The dissertation firstly analysis the types of the zoom microscope based on the principle of zoom optical system, then we design two kinds of mechanically compensated zoom digital biomicroscope objectives through the establishment of the zoom equation to calculate the relevant parameters. One of them has the magnification from 3 to 20 and the zoom ratio of 8. The other has a magnification of 5-40 in order to achieve a lager zoom ratio and higher magnification, which reach 8 in this optical system. Both of the two systems have the conjugate distance of 195 mm and has a good practical performance of aberration and cam curve. The design of zoom biomicroscope has found a new idea for the microscope successfully. It also simplify the microscopic system structure and provide a broad choice range for user detection.Advances in digital technology have made new demands on the microscopic adaptor. In order to meet this demands, the dissertation designs the adaptor that can adapt the infinity biomicroscope objectives and the zoom electro-ocular adaptor that can be used in biomicroscope with finitely conjugate distance. The infinity biomicroscope objectives' adaptor can switch four different magnifications without affecting its imaging quality and achieve the relay function of the image of biomicroscope objectives. The optical length is 120mm with the magnification from 0.35-1. Besides, this dissertation analysises the optical properties of biomicroscope objectives in finitely conjugate distance as well as the types of image sensor and then designs the zoom electro-ocular adaptor which has the magnification from 0.37-0.75. The system is light and small for its total length is only 63 mm. The successfully developed of zoom microscopic adaptor has greatly propelled the traditional microscopic digital technology. Besides, the zoom adaptor can match all chips in a certain size range in order to extend the scope of sensor chips for users to select and ensure users to make best use of microscopic field.Finally the dissertation describes the pattern of the illumination in microscope. One is the surface light source of LED for transparent samples and the other is the ring lamp of LED for opaque objectives. The we design the ring lamp based the design method of freeform optical equipment, which improve the luminance and irradiance uniformity. The introduction of microscopic illumination devices meet the demand of higher luminance and uniformity, while dramatically improving the contrast and resolution of the zoom digital biomicroscope.
