The hotel interior design always gets the tide of the interior design of the public places, and it is the concentrated body of interior illuminating design and technique. But for a long time, the research about the hotel illuminating quality evaluation and technical methods is very rare. With the development of Chinese economy, the lighting quality as an important factor of art expression catches the attention of the hotel owners and designers. The paper makes a deep investigation of the lighting of the big hall of hotels. On the basis of the analysis of the function and the need of users, the paper puts forward the evaluating system of the illuminating quality of hotels.
