Research Under The Perspective Of Narrative Theory Of Urban Street Landscape Design

Narrative theory is systematic interpretation and innovative application of urban street landscape design. And it is a new perspective of street landscape design study in landscape architecture. This article will analyze features of urban street landscape design from the perspective of narrative theory, combine with the method of urban street landscape design, reflect the characteristics of China’s urban street landscape design, at last, ultimately make innovation and apply the theory.Firstly, the major research areas of this article are defined in the urban street landscape design. The author points out the current domestic problems in the street landscape design in case of Yangtze Road in Nanjing City, and gets a theory to solve these problems above, the theory is narrative theory.Secondly, this article combines narrative theory and urban street landscape design, introduces the concept of urban street landscape narrative design, through the interpretation of narrative theory and finishing domestic and international landscape design development history. The article will solve the problems in urban streetscape design.Again, this article summarizes the relationship of narrative theory and urban street landscape design. Then the article explores how to make full use of narrative design basis, design principles and design methods in modern urban street landscape design, and proposes the narrative construction of urban street landscape design.Finally, this article, in the research object of Yangtze Road in Nanjing City, points out the specific problems in urban street landscape design using the above narrative construction of urban streetscape design. Meanwhile the article analyzes the problems in the narrative theory as a starting point. At last the article proposes specific solutions and puts forward the future.
