In recent years, with the rapid development of the national economy, making the number of motor vehicles increased rapidly, at the same time cause frequent traffic jams and accidents. This research also attract more and more domestic and foreign experts and scholars devoted to the study of traffic flow theory model. Solve the traffic congestion problem and needs under the guidance of traffic flow theory, traffic planning, control and management. However, due to the simple cellular automaton model model evolution rules, easy to implement. Can effectively simulate the microscopic traffic flow in the state of motion of the vehicle, which is more in-depth understanding the interaction mechanism between the vehicles. Therefore, cellular automaton model has been widely used and developed in the traffic study.This paper first introduced the research process of the traffic flow model, and the main model of microscopic model, the mesoscopic model, macroscopic model are described. Among them, the paper put emphases on the cellular automaton model of microscopic model. Then based on the theory of cellular automaton traffic flow, in an open boundary condition established of the two-lane main road and branch is single-lane and two-lane T-shaped intersection cellular automaton model with mixed different maximum speed vehicle. The main research contents include :(1) Based on NS model and one and two-way traffic on the CA model, consider mixing three different speed( fast, medium, slow) vehicles impact of branch is single lane of the T-shaped intersection system average velocity, density, flow rate and other factors. In the open boundary conditions, simulation of T-shaped intersection mixed traffic flow characteristics. Research under the condition of five kinds of mixed proportion coefficients, the main injection probability with three lanes in the system the relationship between average velocity, density and flow rate, obtain mixed T-shaped intersection traffic flow basic figure.(2) In the open boundary condition, the establishment of a main road and the branch road is two-lane cellular automaton model of T-shaped intersection. In the system model, the main road and the branch road is two-way traffic operate independently. And in order to occur deadlock phenomenon, stipulated a priority in the intersection of turning lane. Then simulation of T-shaped intersection vehicles mixed traffic flow characteristics. Research in different main road injection probability and different branch road injection probability, and obtain the turning probability flow basic figure. Subsequently, the research at five kinds of mixing ratio coefficient conditions branch road inject probability relations system four(3) lanes’ average speed, density, flow rate, results T-shaped intersection basic diagram of mixed traffic flow.
