Clutch control for automatic transmission is the commen pivotal central technology. Ensuring the consistency of clutch control effect, meanwhile extending the service life is a difficulty for clutch control technology. The important reason is the temperature field information that directly affects the torque transmission characteristic of clutch, due to high-speed rotation, difficult to obtain. Simultaneously, clutch transmitted torque, friction coefficient, pressing force, and clutch temperature field are strong-coupling and nonlinear. In this thesis, the Schaeffler B-8805 is made as the object of research, and the temperature model of the friction disc was studied and analyzed through experiments and theories. All of the major research works are as follows:1. Specifically discusses the background, purpose and significance of this paper. The domestic and foreign research on clutch temperature model, the method to calculate the friction disc temperature filed and the friction disc temperature measurement method in the process of friction are reviewed.2. The dynamic model of clutch in the sliding friction process and the heat-solid coupling model of friction disc were established, the influence factors of temperature field of friction disc and the influence of friction disc temperature on transmission torque are analyzed in detail.3. The two-dimensional transient temperature model of friction disc in the process of sliding friction was established based on the finite element method and heat conduction theory, and using numerical calculation method for solving programming.4. The temperature wireless acquisition system is designed based on the comprehensive test machine for clutches, and the test data is completely read and stored with the Labview.5. The accuracy of temperature model is verified by the comparison of the simulation results of surface temperature data of friction disc and experimental data, which makes preparation of the evaluation of the clutch temperature and precise control of clutch torque.6. The distribution of temperature field of the friction disc and the influence of heat flow to temperature is analyzed with the experimental data and simulation results. At the same time, the temperature is chosen as one of the factors in the clutch torque estimated model and analyzed the influence of temperature to torque transmission.
