With the rise of people's living standards and the constant improvement of road conditions, car has become an indispensable source of transportation of many families. While people are enjoying high convenience brought by cars, they ask for higher requirements of the reliability and comfortableness of the car. The quality of recliner, a safety component in the car seat, is directly related to the safety of the passengers. Thercfore, the good welding of the components plays an important role in the production of recliner. The traditional manual welding now cannot satisfy manufacturer's increasing needs of mass production of recliner. At the same time, gradually developed laser welding technology is considered as a better way. Assembled by advanced galvanometer, disc laser, robot and 4Dwatch, an automatic welding system is designed for the welding of recliner. The research result can be served as technical support for the promotion of the galvanometer scanning laser welding system and its industrial application. Meanwhile, it can break the foreign monopoly of laser welding technology in the recliner of car seat, and offer the opportunity to cultivate the growth of national industry.The research of this paper includes:(1)The mechanism of lase welding has been studied.The keynote lies in the analysis of mechanism of laser scanner welding and produced two error, studied characteristics of laser scanner welding and the main influential elements along with the weldability of galvanized steel.(2)Based on the welding requirements, the system structure and control scheme are determined, a reasonable design model has been made after studying the working principles, characteristics and performance parameters of key components in the disc laser, galvanometer, robot and 4Dwatch. Other auxiliary units including gas circuit device and water cooling device are designed.(3)In view of initial layout flaw, system design scheme is determined, the integrated design of the appearance of whole system has been finished, including layout design, color design, operating area design, button design, man-human interface design, monitoring device design and attachment design.(4) The welding clamp is designed. The welding path has been optimized. The method of orthogonal experiment is used to find out the most reasonable welding processing parameters such as laser power, welding speed and defocus amount. Single factor transformation method is used to analyze the effect of welding parameters on weld penetration and weld width.The error produced by scanner welding has been derived theoretically through mathematics in this paper. The appearance of the welding system is improved. The automatic welding fixture is designed. A series of experiments are conducted, including orthogonal experiment and single factor transformation method, to optimize processing parameters and influence law. It has good engineering application value.
