With the development of social economy and motorization level, travel resources are giving priority to motor vehicles, causing road space gradually squeezed by modern means of transport and slow traffic environment is deteriorating.Pedestrians-non-motor vehicles shared-use path as a new traffic management mode has been gradually tried in recent years.This paper makes pedestrians-non-motor vehicles shared-use path as the research object, aiming to explore the influence of operation efficiency and traffic safety. Through experimental investigation and data analysis of typical shared-use paths practically analyzing the traffic operational characteristics and capacity.Taking the obvious factors into building events model according to the mechanism of conflict events. Eeventually proposing setting conditions and setting strategy of the pedestrians-non-motor vehicles separation strip.Firstly, taking shared-use paths for investigation.Through the analysis of the data, we get the traffic parameters, road position occupied characteristic and capacity, etc. The results showed that the running speed of all the way obey normal distribution and non-motor vehicles have lower speeds prefer the the pure non-motor traffic flow. The actual capacity of bicycles and electric vehicles is respectively on the [500-500], [700-700] range, unit:units/h·m based on the statistical analysis of the measured data.Secondly, the paper proposed a definition of the events of slow mixed traffic flow to depict the comfort degree. Taking the influence obvious factors into building two-lane and multiple lanes conflict events model respectively. By contrast model calculation results and the measured data to modify the model. It showed that events and road sections length, width, total traffic flow volume, the manner, component ratio, average speeds of all traffic models have certain correlation.Thirdly, choosing bicycle as evaluation objects, the paper established the correlation relationship between event model and service level evaluation by fuzzy clustering analysis method.
