Research On Architectural Design Method Of Divergent Thinking Using Case-Based Reasoning

Nowadays, due to the rapidly developing computer technology, the conceptions of “fast” and “new” have a great influence on all walks of life. As is commonly accepted, innovation is quite significant in a variety of research fields. Among all the factors required in the process of innovation, divergent thinking is the essential key. It is an important means to guide innovation and has a big sense.Technology innovation has become a necessary tool to solve problems, and case-based reasoning is one of the effective methods. In this paper, case-based reasoning technology was used to guide the divergent thinking, in order to be able to guide architectural design with rapid innovation through divergent thinking of case-based reasoning method, adapting to the needs of the society.In this paper, divergent thinking of the case-based reasoning in the architectural design is considered as a starting point, the design factors implied in the construction process were summarized through the explanation of the basic characteristics of divergent thinking, basic types and the analysis used in traditional architectural design.Secondly, this paper reviews of case-based reasoning(CBR) technology development, explores the basic principle, designs process and key technology(case representation, case retrieval, case reuse, case study, case preservation), and analyzes the application in the whole process of thinking, revealing the link of case-based reasoning method and traditional design thinking method.Finally, on the basis of the above researches, divergent thinking based on case-based reasoning method was further studied, providing a theoretical basis for architectural design based on case-based reasoning method of system development, construction case in the system adaptive correction and generation. Divergent thinking framework was proposed based on case-based reasoning architectural design, broadening the thinking methods in the process of architectural design of divergent selection in some sense. By preliminary guidance to the innovation process, we aim to improve the efficiency of seeking innovation and enhance the level of innovation.
