Analysis And Optimization Of The Airport Operational Predictability

Numerous new airports have been built throughout the country in the past decades of years, witnessing the development of civil aviation industry. In order to support the increasing flights and airport operation and provide accurate information to aircraft operators, the assessment of airport operation performance is a must. Such criteria as flight demand, capacity, punctuality, efficiency, and fairness have been widely accepted, on which plenty of studies have also been carried out. With the lucubration into the domain, predictability has been introduced as a new criterion, and it has also been approved.As for the study of the airport operational predictability, considering the operation state, this article puts forward two specific research indexes: the flight time and the taxi time. As for the predictability of the flight time, will use the standard deviation of the flight time to study; As for the predictability of taxi time, cut the whole process into several segmentations, then study the predictability of each stage, and make an overall comprehensive analysis. Then consider the factors which have effects of the airport operation predictability. First, make a brief introduction of various meteorological elements. In order to study the impact of the weather, calculating the correlation between the weather data and the flight operational data. Then introduce the other factor which is departure delay. Finally, using the predictability optimization model optimizes the predictability of departure time.From the perspective of predictability, the article evaluates the airport operation and proposes two indicators. In this paper, we study the predictability of the index can not only more comprehensive assessment of airport operation state, but also can effectively enhance the departure time of flight schedule arrangement, as well as bring high economic benefits.
