Modeling and simulation of aircraft power system has become increasingly important owing to the application of More Electric Aircraft(MEA) being more and more wide, aircraft power system becoming more complex at the same time.Generally, the aircraft electric power system includes power generation system, power distribution system and power system loads. It is essential to simulate aircraft electric power system quickly and to model aircraft electric power system accurately.A key factor of applying model based design approach is dedicated modeling and simulation techniques. Thus, a power system model of the More Electric Aircraft is established in this thesis, which includes generator and transformer rectifier unit, DC-DC converters unit and DC-AC inverter unit. Also, to improve the quality of aircraft power supply,every circuit structure of the power distribution system was researched and appropriate feedback control network was designed according to different characteristics of each unit.And power distribution logic simulation software of a Boeing 737 is developed in the thesis.The simulation results show that the simulation model with control units can simulate actual aircraft power distribution system successfully and satisfy the standard of MIL-STD-704 F. Moreover, steady state performance and transient performance of the model satisfy the standard of aircraft power distribution system in the actual application. Hence, the developed models and simulation can be used for stability assessment of the electric power systems of the MEA in the future.
