The international strategic war game is a deducing system aimed at providing decision- making assistance and preliminary practice on international strategic issues. For the user of this system usually lacks professional knowledge of various fields, in order to get usable situation information from the multivariate information suppor ting environment,the author studied on the modeling and evaluation method of the situation assessment module, after extensive reading of related literature and research results both at home and abroad, presented a decision information fusion and visualiza tion method based on multi-channel color mapping.Firstly, from the analysis of national relationship, the influence factors of the strategic situation is divided into political, military and economic. The evaluation indicator systems of political correlation, military threat and economic dependence are extracted respectively using analytic hierarchy process(AHP).Secondly, on the issue of weight determination, in addition to subjective weighting using AHP, for some indicators, combined weighting is also applied using entropy value method to both reflect the experience and judgment of experts and the inherent law of data.Thirdly, on the decision information aggregation issue, weighted linear average method, weighted geometric mean method and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS) are used separately according to the connotation of each indicator and the relationship between each other, the multi-channel color mapping method is used for decision information fusion, and the operational picture is generate through the display module by map coloring.Finally, a test group composed of thirty different countries is comprehensively assessed through this model, the results shows that this model is effective on the fusion of initial data from different fields, and the operational picture generated using multi-channel color mapping method is simple, intuitive and meaningful. It is capable of providing reference and help for the user of war game system.
