Study On Travel Time Reliability Calculation Method Of Expressway

Travel time reliability of expressway directly affect the safety and smoothness of traffic. At present, pros and cons of the expressway operation management work is based on it can improve the people travel convenience or not. At the same time, ensuring the safety of traffic flow is also the focus of people. In recent years, the theory research results of travel time reliability has made great progress, but mostly not based on abundant data or the basis of information resources, so which will be difficult to have real value. Mastered the rich data resources, this paper has a very accurate of actual link travel time data, so can be mastered the real expressway road network operation after analysis.This paper first analyzes the factors of affecting expressway operation reliability, then proposes an architecture analysis of expressway operation reliability, which is including the target layer, criterion layer and index layer by the method of hierarchical analysis and theory analysis, and forms a complete set of expressway travel time reliability calculation method. In the meantime, this paper based on expressway information collection and management system makes a detailed analysis of toll data. Then finds the factors such as trafficflow, traffic accidents effects on the expressway operation reliability. And analyzes the paths of the expressway road network in the containment relationship and the reliability relationship of the paths.
