Prioritizing the development of public transportation is an important way to alleviate traffic congestion and maintain the sustainable development of transportation systems.In order to improve the public transport attraction and sharing rate,it is necessary to conduct research and analysis on the bus vehicle operating subsystem to provide more specific references and suggestions for the effective operation of the bus system from the perspective of evaluating the reliability of bus operation.In view of the current operation and development mode of public transportation system in small and medium-sized cities in China,based on the research on the existing evaluation indexes of bus operational reliability,this paper selects the terminal punctuality index(PIT),the travel time fluctuation index(FIT),the arrival punctuality index(PIH),the headway fluctuation index(Cov)and the bunching rate index(F)from the consideration of the evaluation objects(the travel time and the headway)and the evaluation standard(punctuality and stability).At the same time,considering the operational differences between high-frequency lines and low-frequency lines,the bus operational reliability evaluation index system based on the bus intelligent data is constructed for the two types of lines.Subsequently,based on the AHP-entropy weight method,the selected line-level indicators are comprehensively processed,and a comprehensive evaluation system of bus line operation reliability is established for high-frequency lines and low-frequency lines respectively.Finally,based on the Automatic Vehicle Location(AVL)data and IC card data of HN’s bus system,the practical evaluation of the bus operation reliability evaluation system constructed in this paper was carried out.The 21 major lines in HN were systematically evaluated.The evaluation results show that the punctuality and stability of bus operation during peak hours are higher than during peak hours,and the reliability of bus operations has a strong time period characteristic.At the same time,the bunching rate during peak hours is significantly higher than other periods;Secondly,The evaluation of 21 major bus lines in HN shows that there are obvious differences in the reliability of bus operation between stations and lines,and the reliability of bus operation needs to be improved and promoted.Research shows that the station-level and line-level evaluation indexes selected in this paper have high sensitivity to the differences between different periods of bus operation,and can intuitively reflect the differences in bus operational reliability between stations and lines.At the same time,the different index systems for low-frequency lines and high-frequency lines are more in line with the differences in bus operator’s management and demand of travelers.The comprehensive evaluation index system adopting the AHP-Entropy Weight method can also achieve flexible application functions based on different evaluation focuses and sensitivity to actual data,making the evaluation system more accurate and easier to apply. |
