With the rapid development of the aviation industry, the traditional wing aircraft have gradually failed to meet the requirements of the military and civilian areas. The researchers hope to develop a new type of aircraft that can keep good performance under different conditions and in different flight state. The concept of morphing wing and adaptive inlet is then put forward. When the flight environment changes in a wide range, the morphing wing can change its shape or surface structure in real time according to the flight condition to obtain the best aerodynamic performance, and the adaptive inlet can change its shape according to the flight state to ensure the stability of the flow field. As the most widely used deformation actuating material, Shape memory alloy(SMA) has the advantages of high power / weight ratio, simple structure, low actuating voltage, no pollution, no noise and high corrosion resistance.In this paper, a research on the morphing wing and adaptive inlet based on SMA actuation is carried out. Firstly, the performance of SMA is analyzed, the maximum recoverable strain and the optimal actuating current of SAM are obtained, and the SMA heating, cooling and actuating modes are determined. On this basis, the structure design and strength analysis of the morphing wing and the adaptive inlet are carried out in CATIA and ANSYS. And processing and assembly of parts are completed. Then, the software and hardware design of the control system based on ARM is carried out. Finally, the variant experiment of the morphing wing and the adaptive inlet are carried out. The experimental results show that the deformation of the wing and the inlet is good, and the feasibility of the designed variant structure and control system is proved.
