Currently, the rapid heating aircraft deicing vehicles are used for deicing in major hub airports around the world. The rapid heating system of aircraft deicing fluid is one of the key equipments of deicing vehicles, which is required to realize the rapid heating of aircraft deicing fluid during in the filling or spraying, and the deicing fluid quickly reaches the set temperature. So the realization of deicing fluid rapid heating and precise control of temperature can solve many problems, such as the long time and low efficiency of the deicing fluid heating, and relieve the large area flight delays that are caused by ice and snow conditions to ensure the normal operation of the aircraft eventually. The rapid heating system of aircraft deicing fluid is the main study object in this paper. And the internal structures of aircraft deicing fluid heating system are introduced. For this system, working principle and characteristics, such as nonlinear, large time delay,time-varying, are all analyzed deeply. From the point of heat transfer in the aircraft deicing fluid rapid heating system, the heating process is analyzed and calculated based on the theories of energy conservation and heat balance, then mathematical model of rapid heating system is obtained. For the characteristics such as nonlinear, large time delay, time-varying of the rapid heating system, adaptive Smith predictor and fuzzy PID controller are proposed based on the traditional Smith predictor and PID controller. On the basis of the control strategy, an aircraft deicing fluid temperature control system is designed. Finally, the software of simulation development is used for constructing the rapid heating system of aircraft deicing fluid. The results of simulation show that the calculated model and control algorithm, which are proposed in this paper, are reliable and effective.
