Research And System Design On Recognition Of Infrared Ship Target

In modern naval warfare, precision-guided weapons in the core position in the weapon system, makes the navy ship automatic identification technology important.Infrared imaging guidance technology provides abundant target/background information,that can implement precision in the complex battlefield environment, so the ship target recognition based on infrared imaging become a key issue in the field of infrared. Due to the infrared background interference when ship target recognition is more, the waves, the presence of clutter, the clouds and the characteristics of ship target infrared imaging greatly influenced by factors such as season, climate, temperature, let the ship infrared target accurately identify the difficulties, this paper, taking the research of this subject.At first, this paper expounds the research background and significance of the infrared ship target recognition technology, domestic and foreign research present situation and development trend of related technology, infrared imaging mechanism and features,typical of a key link in the process of infrared ship target recognition system, and the structure of the full text and the research content of planning; Then according to the characteristics of ship infrared images, based on the infrared ship image filtering and enhanced image preprocessing work; Then gives the image edge detection of infrared ship image segmentation, the automatic threshold segmentation and region growing segmentation scheme, and makes a comparative analysis of treatment effect.In this paper, and then extract the geometric features and statistical features of infrared ship target ship target recognition. Infrared ship target recognition system designed in this paper on the Matlab platform, the experimental results show that the method is to properly identify the ship target, greatly reduces the amount of calculation,improve the identification accuracy and shorten the recognition time; Finally proposed the DSP + FPGA infrared ship target recognition system hardware design.
