With the development of the aviation industry, the domestic airline fleet size is growing bigger and bigger. It also has great development in optimizing cost of the plane and management mode. In MSG-3, the aircraft maintenance intervals are conservative, which will inevitably lead to an increase in aircraft maintenance costs and operating costs for airlines. In the actual operation, maintenance interval need continuous adjustment and optimization according to the analysis of the actual operation reliability data. Optimizing aircraft maintenance intervals to reduce maintenance costs for civil aircraft has great research space.In this paper, the maintenance interval optimization problem of civil aircraft system was studied. Provide a reasonable preventive maintenance interval for the airline through establishing a preventive maintenance optimization model to make the airline's maintenance cost minimized. To establish optimization model, the key problem is to clear the impact of maintenance activities on the system and system failure rate. In order to describe the impact of maintenance activities on the system,this paper introduces the improvement factor to describe the recovery effect of the maintenance activity on the length of service. In order to know the failure rate of the system, collect the Aircraft system failure data, through analyzing the reliability of failure data obtain system failure rate?After solving the key problems,combined with incomplete maintenance theory, the periodic imperfect preventive maintenance model is established. The model takes the maintenance cost rate of minimum unit time as target, reliable and effective degrees as constraint conditions. By solving the model can obtain the optimal preventive maintenance intervals and the preventive maintenance times. Finally, the simulation case of using the example of airlines validation shows that the model in this paper is feasible.
