With the continuous development of civil aviation, huge convenience has been brought to people's production and life by aviation. But the problem of pollution caused by aircraft noise has also attracted more and more people's attention. Especially in recent years, the increasing number of domestic airports makes noise problem more serious. To solve this problem, aircraft noise levels are strictly limited by noise certification standards and regulations enacted by governments and civil aviation organizations. In order to carry out the work of airworthiness of aircraft noise better, aircraft Noise- Power- Distance(NPD)database is indispensable.This paper mainly studied the construction of MA700 propeller's NPD database and the application of NPD database in noise prediction. Firstly, on the basis of <Aircraft Type and Airworthiness Certification Noise Regulation>, combined with <International Civil Aviation Annex 16> and <Environmental Technical Manual>, the site and environment requirements during the heavy propeller-driven airplane's reference and equivalent flight test are studied in this paper. Experimental site selection, flight path measurement, data collection, etc are also analyzed in this paper. Secondly, Due to the importance of equivalent procedures in aircraft noise airworthiness certification work, this paper made ? ?a detailed study of the cross-section equivalent flight procedures. Thirdly, based on the measured noise data of MA700's competition aircraft, the construction of propeller aircraft's NPD database is realized. On the basis of NPD database, the aircraft noise inquiry system is developed by using C# programming language. At last, the application of propeller aircraft's NPD database is studied and the noise prediction system is develop to achieve prediction of derivative aircraft noise, which plays an important role in the noise airworthiness certification work of MA700's derivative aircraft.
