With the rapid development of civil aviation industry and transportation industry, the amount of aircraft, as well as the density of taking off and landing, has been experiencing a sudden increase. People who live near the airport suffer a lot from the noise of aircraft, which is considered as the main source of environmental noise. The issue aviation noise pollution cannot be neglected. Meanwhile, noise airworthiness certification works are also highly valued. However, in our country, noise prediction technology is not yet mature. And there is not yet a comprehensive prediction method showing airworthiness compliance.In this paper, the NPD data is amended according to the CCAR-36 and the provisions of ICAO Annex 16. Calculate the effective perceived noise level and fit to curve, thus finally creating the NPD databases(noise-power-distance) for both prototype and derivatives. Noise level of aircraft when taking off, approaching or lateral is predicted via the equivalent mapping model from the ground to the flight stage, after amending the noise data that is obtained through the engine ground test. And then the forecast results are analyzed as regard to the noise severities compliance. The proposed method is proved to be feasible and of great value in engineering by the validation of the proposed prediction model.A new aircraft noise airworthiness compliance prediction system is developed based on the SQL Server2008 database management system and visual C++2010 software platform.The system can be used to predict the noise level of aircraft during flying stage through the static testing data as well as to manage and call the NPD database. The prediction values can be assessed according to the noise severities curves. What’s more, the proposed system, which is integrated by multiple functional modules, runs very fast and has an advantage of large capacity and high accuracy. What’s been studied in this paper can help in reducing the cost of noise airworthiness certification for the large aircraft that is been developing by our country.And this is a new engineering practice worthy of further promotion.
