Emergency management is an integral part of aviation security. Civil aviation emergency domain ontology has been constructed, which is a basis of achieving good representation and sharing for domain knowledge, and reasoning implementation of emergency rescue plan.However, the research on representation of fuzzy knowledge for the exiting domain ontology is lack, which is difficult to offer a good support for description and reasoning application of uncertain information. Hence, on a basis of the study of civil aviation emergency domain ontology, the paper introduces the idea of fuzzy theory and studies the method and application of fuzzy extension. The main works are as follows:1. Analyses fuzzy theory, such as fuzzy set, membership function, and fuzzy description logic, in detail on a basis of summarizing and analyzing the relational knowledge of ontology and its fuzzy semantic requirements.2. Presents fuzzy extension model of domain ontology based on fuzzy description logic and gives the extension method of concepts and relations for domain ontology, and its syntax representation and semantic interpretation from the perspectives of fuzzy modifiers and fuzzy concrete domains aiming to the representation of fuzzy knowledge for civil aviation emergency domain ontology.3. Designs fuzzy rules by introducing weight concept and gives the representation and construction process of fuzzy rules on a basis of f-SWRL in connection with the inference application of situation analysis for civil aviation events.The experimental results show that the fuzzy extension method of civil aviation emergency domain ontology can make up for the issue that the existing domain ontology is inadequate in term of fuzzy knowledge representation effectively, and provide a good methodological support for making domain ontology perfect and inference application with the reasoning implementation based on fuzzy rules.
