In the aircraft landing gear system,the damper device undertake an important buffer function.The damper can efficiently dissipate external disturbing load and can provide a safe,reliable and comfortable environment for persons in the aircraft taxiing,take-off and landing process.In recent years,many domestic and foreign scholars carried out extensive and in-depth study on the magnetorheological(MR)damper.Mainly because the often-used shock absorber of oil and air can not be adjusted in real time according to the change of external load, the shock absorber of oil and air belongs to the category of passive control.But the magnetorheological damper has the large output damping force,wide adjustment range,simple structure and high reliability and can realize the real-time control for the controlled object through changing the current according to the change of the external load.So this is also one of the main reasons that the magnetorheological damper should be widely researched and applied.If researchers apply the magnetorheological damper to the aircraft landing gear and success,the way not only will change control mode,but also will enhance the quality of seismic control of aircraft and flight safety.In order to improve the buffering performance of the shock absorber in the aircraft landing gear system, this article based on the previous research experience for the MRF damper and designed the annular line damping channel MR damper through the MR damper design theory, the theory of electromagnetism and the mechanical structure design theory. And the new MR damper was compared and analyzed with the annular channel damper. The results showed that the new damper had some advantages such as the high efficiency of magnetic circuit,almost all the effective damping channel,the long damping channel and the high output damping force and so on.The static and dynamic characteristic test of MR damper showed that the current can continuously regulate the output damping force of the new damper and the new damper had the high damping force and a certain amount of the adjustment range of damping force.The experiment verified the effectiveness of theoretical analysis of MR damper.And the new damper can act as the common shock absorber of oil and air without external energy.To improve the structure of the new damper in the later,the length of the damping channel of the damper was shortened and the damping channel gap was increased form 1mm to2 mm.The experiment results showed that the improved damper has better damping performance than the former one.Finally,this article summarized study experience for the subject and proposed own suggestions on future design.
