Simulation of aircraft maintenance can not only simulate a variety of aircraft fault effects,but also improve the efficiency of maintenance training. Thus it has an irreplaceable role in aviation maintenance in modern aircraft maintenance area. With the functional development of civil aircraft, as well as the complexity and diversity of components, the aircraft airborne systems become more and more complex and huge, which leads to the fact that the aircraft maintenance simulation modeling tends to be diverse and complex. The whole maintenance simulation system is based on model-element. There exist some outstanding issues, such as complex details while directly modeling the functions, poor re-usability and so on, in the process of modeling integration. Reasonable management, planning and integrated simulation model can guarantee that the maintenance simulation system is in consistent with the real aircraft system, which has a vital significance on the aircraft maintenance simulation system for maintenance training.According to the characteristics of aircraft maintenance, analysis and research are conducted on the related functions of the on-board maintenance system. To further study on the foundations of simulation models and associations with LRU models, the maintenance simulation models in aircraft maintenance device are classified and the characteristics and criterion of models are summarized. The aircraft maintenance simulation system is based on simulation model through the analysis of maintenance process and maintenance purposes, and during the process of maintenance, the troubleshooting is conducted step by step, namely from the main system of aircraft to the subsystem, and then from subsystems to function modules, finally from function modules to maintenance simulation models. The knowledge expression abstracted from models is consistent with the actual behavior of aircraft maintenance and the relationships among the system structures.The final result of aircraft maintenance simulation model integration is an aircraft maintenance simulation system, and the result is treated as the target problem. The process of the model integration is transformed into the procedure of solving problems, in which the model data is backward reasoned and the target model is matched through the matching of different knowledge levels. The process of the model integration is converted to the process ofsolving problems, thus, the integrated network is eventually established to achieve the comprehensive integration of models, data and decision-making.Finally, the system of airborne electronic communication is taken as an example to verify the maintenance system with simulation models integrated. The models are instanced and the process of model integration is introduced. Additionally, the integrated network is analyzed and the whole aircraft maintenance simulation system is realized gradually to verify the rationality and validity of the integrated system.The T-J(Target-Join) model integration method is a combination of the relations among the aircraft system structure and the idea of backward reasoning in knowledge constitutes,which aims at aircraft maintenance simulation integrated model. Besides, the integration of the aircraft maintenance simulation models are realized.
