With the booming development of the civil aviation industry, the size of the airline fleet expanded rapidly,such that the maintenance for aircraft becomes more onerous. More skilled aircraft maintainers are needed to ensure the normal operation of the flight in the civil aviation institute and the airline company. The mechanical component maintenance occupies a large proportion in the aircraft maintenance work. In the aspect of maintenance training, the knowledge of working principle, structure and the external features and operation process of the mechanical components are particularly important, therefore the study on the simulation model is of great significance. The mechanical component simulation models lack universality and can't simulate malfunction. In order to solve these problems, the function model and the 3D entity models of the mechanical components have been researched, taking the maintenance tasks and the training mode into account.Firstly, the maintenance tasks are introduced, which are classified according to the type of maintenance work. The training mode and its key components are defined. In view of the different training objects, the training mode are divided into three different patterns. By analyzing the AMM(Aircraft Maintenance Manual), TSM(Trouble Shooting Manual) and other official service manuals, most of the mechanical components are researched on their working principles, statuses, characteristics, which are classified into several kinds.Secondly, the function model of the mechanical components is researched. The simulation model called FI-MFM is established combining fault injection technique with MFM modeling theory. Its mathematical expressions and the matrix description rules are also defined. The model can express maintenance characteristic of the large number of mechanical components and have fault injection function. The result upon the refuel valve shows the method is correct and feasible.Finally, the 3D entity models of the mechanical components are researched, which are differentiated into the geometric model and the behavior model. The method and key technology of the geometric modeling are researched. The behavior model is established according to the relationship of the behavior constraints. Taking the refuel valve as an example, the geometric model and the behavior model are realized.
